Performance Automotive Network is seeking a Website Manager or Website Engineer ! Immediate Position Available!

 

Are you experienced in creating and updating websites, landing pages, working with content management system, creating email campaigns? Do you have a passion for creating a great online user experience while optimizing sites for conversion and SEO? Do you have a knack for digital design? We’re looking for you!

 

We’re looking for an experienced website guru to support Performance Automotive Network dealerships in our Cincinnati/Dayton and Salt Lake City, UT markets. Based out of our West Chester, OH corporate office, our ideal candidate is great at maintaining, updating, and improving websites, as well implementing a strong SEO strategy. Must understand mobile digital implementation, user experience and conversion strategies. Knowledge of SEO, HTML and CSS coding a major plus!

An integral member of the Digital Marketing team, the Website Engineer will be responsible for maintaining our dealership websites and other digital assets. The position is responsible for reviewing, testing, updating, optimizing, and improving all aspects of our sites; both for the best consumer experience, conversion optimization, and search engine ranking. Will work closely with department management and colleague(s) responsible for SEO optimization and content development, as well as dealership management.

Responsibilities

As a Website Manager or Website Engineer you will:

  • Help formulate digital marketing strategies as part of the Digital Marketing team and execute those strategies across digital platforms, including websites, email marketing, landing pages, off-site SEO and more.
  • Work closely with department management, colleague(s) responsible for SEO optimization and content development, as well as dealership management. Also, work closely with web platform vendors.
  • Understand search ranking issues and opportunities and help develop winning strategies and execution (on page and off).
  • Optimize site for ideal SERP appearance (understanding of schema markup and structured data markup helpful).
  • Review website analytics/performance and make recommendations to improve traffic and conversion.
  • Help create landing pages as part of marketing campaigns, working with other members of the digital marketing team.
  • Help optimize consumer experience in support of marketing and sales goals to maximize key KPIs (time on site, engagement, conversion, etc.).
  • Engage customers with user-friendly formatting and intuitive on-page navigation.
  • Optimize all work with SEO best practices in mind and analyze results with Google Analytics.
  • Stay current with trends and advancements in website optimization, experience, and tools; both within and outside of the automotive dealership industry.
  • Creating engaging and informative content for our social media channels.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience in working with WordPress website platform and content management systems (CMS for websites and email services). Experience working with Automotive dealer platforms a plus but not required.
  • Competent grasp of SEO best practices and techniques. Knowledge of web analytics and content optimization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail regarding grammar, spelling, structure, and accuracy.
  • Ability to utilize graphics, photography, and video. Some graphic design/editing capability preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain working relationships with team members throughout the organization's many departments.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be energetic, outgoing, and a self-starter, capable of managing and organizing priorities and working without day-to-day direction.
  • Organized and systematic.
  • Capable of working with and influencing others; strong ability to convey the value of tasks that others need to accomplish, and work with them to accomplish those tasks through effective face-to-face, phone, and other communications.
  • Ideal candidate will have a track record of success in business or organizational website upkeep and content creation.
  • Franchised auto dealership digital marketing experience a plus, but not required.
  • Must have a clean driving record and car insurance and/or insurable.
  • Must pass background screening.
  • Education/Experience: Associates Degree in communications, website design and/or multiple years of experience in website content creation and management.
  • Attendance: This is a full-time, exempt position which requires you to be present and available Monday through Friday during business hours to meet the needs of the company. This exempt position is not eligible for overtime, however on occasion, a flexible schedule may be required.
  • This position also requires flexibility in days and hours worked and fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
