We are currently seeking a well-motivated, high-energy Service Writeralso known as Assistant Service Manager or Service Advisor, to work one-on-one with our clients. Your job will be to advise customers on both required and suggested repairs and maintenance needs of their vehicles.

 

  • This Position is Full Time
  • Earn $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 Annually (Experience Based)
  • Hours are Monday - Friday 7 am to 6 pm (Alternating Saturdays)

Responsibilities

Service Writer / ASM:

  • Maintain your Customer Satisfaction Scores at or above the district goal
  • Receiving in customer’s and their automobiles in the most effective and timely manner
  • Constant communication with your service technicians
  • Calling customers with diagnostic results and recommendations from your technicians
  • Selling the recommendations from your technicians
  • Communicate authorized recommendations to your technicians with a “promise time” for completion of work
  • Prompt call to customers when vehicle is washed and ready
  • Notify your customer if there are any delays to the “promise time” and why; before the “promised time” for pick up
  • Close all repair orders and review with customers as they pick up their automobiles

Qualifications

  • One year of Service (Writer) experience preferred
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Competent level of computer literacy
  • Substantial time management technique
  • Have a general understanding of automotive maintenance
  • Maintain an energetic, positive, and respectful attitude with everyone
  • Need to have a great driving record
  • Substance screening is required of all Performance Toyota employees
