Performance Automotive Network has moved our Corporate Service BDC Department to our Performance Honda Used Car Superstore located in Cincinnati, OH, right off I-71 on Kingswater Drive in the Kings Automall! Hold on to your seat because we are an Extremely High-Volume Franchised Dealer Group, including Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM. We are seeking career-minded, Full-Time Service BDC Agents, also known as Business Development Specialist. We are a fast-paced, fun, and cohesive team with an unmatched work culture for all employees. The BDC Agent is a specialized, highly trained & skilled member of the Service Business Development Center. Service BDC Agents handle inbound service reservation calls, confirms service reservations, perform outbound follow-up calls for due or overdue service clients. Also, Special Ordered Part (SOP) notifications; “we owe” scheduling calls and any additional outbound calls requested by management.

               

 

A Service BDC Agent must possess outstanding communication skills, a cheerful and enthusiastic disposition, and the ability to speak articulately. In addition, the Service BDC Agent must display great work ethics, project a “can do” attitude in the face of change, enjoy conducting outbound telephone calls with enthusiasm and support the goals and vision of the team. To complete Service-Mastery certification training, the Service Coordinator must pass certification testing with a minimum score of 85%. Service Coordinators must attend 100% of the certification training, which is four consecutive days. During the first six weeks of training, a Service Coordinator must not miss more than one day of work for any reason.

 

  • $14.00 to $15.00 Per Hour (Experience-based)
  • Hours are Monday - Friday From 8:00 am to 4:30 PM
  • Alternating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • This Position is 40 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities

Service BDC Agent:

  • Promptly and professionally answer inbound calls to provide an exceptional client experience resulting in a scheduled reservation with the service team.
  • Master and follow all training materials, including inbound service Call Guides and Strategic Responses (word tracks), to answer all guest’s questions accurately
  • Keep current with service specials, all direct mail pieces, and recall notices from the manufacturer
  • Using the Blueprint KnowledgeDrive to search for an answer(s) to guest’s questions before transferring the phone call to a Service Advisor
  • The ability to work flexible hours, to possibly include Saturdays
  • Being punctual to work and when returning from lunch and break with a complete adherence to set schedule
  • Following the “BDC Center Policies and Procedures” Manual

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Master all training materials provided in the ServiceMastery™ Certification training supplied by Blueprint, Inc., which includes but is not limited to specific call guide strategies, word tracks about overcoming particular client questions and objections 
  • Be proficient in operational software techniques for DMS, Service CRM, and any additional dealer-specific software
  • Having the aptitude & desire to develop a solid understanding of product information related to all brands, vehicles, and all maintenance/repair services provided by the service department(s) included with this group
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Substance screening is required of all Performance Automotive Network employees
