    Performance Toyota LogoTo ensure optimum customer service, Performance Toyota of Fairfield seeks an Express Service Writer to work one-on-one with our clients. Your job will be to advise customers on the available light maintenance service options when their vehicles need Express Maintenance. We’re counting on you to develop extensive product knowledge and to serve all of our customers with a friendly smile and honest guidance.


    • Earn $36,000 to $48,000 Annually (experience based)
    • Hours are Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm
    • Alternating Saturdays

    Express Service Writer:

    • Maintain your Customer Satisfaction Scores at or above the district goal
    • Receiving customer’s and their automobiles in a timely manner
    • Constant communication with your Express Technicians
    • Presenting customers with diagnostic results and recommendations
    • Selling the recommendations from your technicians
    • Communicate authorized recommendations to your technicians with a “promise time” for completion of work
    • Prompt call to customers when vehicle is washed and ready
    • Notify your customer if there are any delays to the “promise time” and why; before the “promised time” for pick up
    • Close all repair orders and review with customers


    Express Service Writer:

    • High school diploma/GED required
    • One year of Service (Writer) experience preferred not required
    • Competent level of computer literacy
    • Substantial time management
    • Have a general understanding of automotive maintenance
    • Maintain an energetic, positive, and respectful attitude with everyone
    • Need to have a great driving record
    • Substance screening required of all employees
